The study day "The Loire Valley tomorrow? River Culture: drivers of land use and environmental integrity. As part of the activities of the UNESCO Chair "Rivers and Heritage: natural and cultural diversity of river landscapes", this workshop is being organised at Angers University on Tuesday 7 and Wednesday 8 July to take stock of current research on the chair's theme and provide an initial discussion forum for researchers from the partner universities. The workshop is intended for academics, young researchers, professors, lecturers and students as well as the many professionals involved in water and environment management and development local authorities, water management and development plans [SAGE], nature parks, federations and international organisations.
Planned to last for around eight weeks during summer , it will lead to presentation of one or more artistic productions on the occasion of European Heritage Days on 19 and 20 September What will the Loire be like tomorrow?

Loire site: the reality and prospects. On Wednesday 8 April in Tours, Mission Val de Loire will be organising this study day for all local authorities, State representatives and associations in the Loire Valley who are involved in shaping its future. Mission Val de Loire intends for it to be a wide-open session that encourages debate and discussion, and in this way make its own contribution to the general discussions on the matter. As part of the research programme "Participation of populations and renewal of landscape practices", a study-action is under way in Villandry.
